A blend of herbs that nourish, tone and restore the entire nervous system. High in calcium, magnesium and B vitamins, these herbs can be used over a long period of time, increasing one’s ability to cope with the stress of daily life, or as a restorative after a period of extreme stress or illness.
Although this blend is nourishing to the nervous system taken as a hot infusion, the phyto-chemicals contained in valerian roots are more readily removed into cold water, especially when steeped overnight. I highly recommend making this brew at bedtime, ready to be used the following day.
Organic & wild-crafted ingredients:
Scullcap (Scutellaria laterifolia) and damiana (Turnera diffusa) aerials, oatstraw (Avena sativa) stems, chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) flowers, lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) leaves, rose (Rosa spp.) petals and valerian (Valeriana officinalis) roots.
Caution: not for use during pregnancy
Cold-infusion: Steep 1/2-1 tablespoon of Nerve Tonic Infusion in 2L filtered cold water, cover and leave overnight. Strain out herbs in the morning and drink this tea throughout the day. Use in your water bottle at room temperature or with lemon and lime slices as a cooling iced tea in summer.
